Purchase 2 EufyCam E cameras over a…

Purchased x2 EufyCam-E cameras over a year ago & through 2 cold wet British Winters & they’re still providing good coverage front & back. I charge them every 6 months as 7% charge worries me. ????. WiFi & software still very stable the bit often forgotten about. ????

Completely won over

We purchased this item mostly with a leap of faith as we were a little sceptical about how well it would work. To our surprise, apart from doing the stairs, it out-performs our dyson. It also goes under furniture including our settee when our other one didn't. It gets up a remarkable amount of dust and fluff which is diminishing each day - a good sign I feel. It was probably the best Christmas present I have bought my disabled wife in a long time. The only thing I wish it had is a carrying handle or knob fixed on its top as they would make it easier to carry up and down stairs.Maybe the more expensive versions have?

Brilliant safeguard

A doorbell with a difference. Clear vision both night and day as to the approaches to my house. Excellent safety measure. And all at a good price and easy fitting. Would highly recommend.

eufycam 2C is a first class product

eufycam 2C is a first class product. Easy to set up using the smartphone app - working withinin minutes from unpacking. Easy to fix cameras. Delivery next day. The app is easy to use, with motion notifications on the phone. Video is smooth and detailed. What more could you ask for? My use was as a visual check for an elderly relative living alone, with cameras inside the house. The only let down was that the web portal is very poor - so only use with your smartphone or tablet.

Perfect purchase.

I purchased this as I had several recommendations from friends. I'm delighted with my Robo Vac. Easy to use which is a bonus. Cleans well and saves time. I would recommend it to anyone. Basically it has made vacuuming so much easier. The handy and easy to use remote sets it off and returns to base when the job is complete. A very happy customer.

Really happy with eufy door bell. Brilliant service. The app doesn't kill phone's battery.

Battery let it down

We unfortunately returned our doorbell after less than 3 weeks use as the battery let it down. I'm sure it'd be fine in Southern California but in the South of England I fear it didn't care for winter temperatures

Eufy Wired Doorbell - NO Event Indications = NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

Worth a Read
I researched both Ring & Eufy Doorbells and opted for Eufy.
Installation & Set-up was quite straightforward BUT after 2 days, the system stopped receiving Events - the Camera saw things happen but never told you they'd happened ?
I tried adjusting various settings with no success so I reported the issue to Eufy Support (via email)
After 4 days of emailing various settings & screenshots, there was no progress so I escalated the issue.
The escalation manager eventually came back with "the back-end engineering team say adjusting a particular setting on your Doorbell might help improve this issue."
The word "MIGHT" from the 'specialists' gave me no confidence in either them fixing the issue or with it's future performance & reliability.
I returned the Eufy, purchased a Ring doorbell and have had no problems whatsoever with the Ring.

Happy with purchase process and delivery time. Installation straight forward.
Felt user guide could include more detail on feature options/usage, such as what is snooze all about, for instance? (Have checked on line) Also use of microphone facility, understanding messages that appear. Obvious I am sure with previous experience. Also found sharing with another family member a touch bothersome, but perhaps that’s just me!
Overall, seems a well made product, whose features I will need to explore with a degree of trial and error. First time I have invested in this kind of technology.

Really impressed with my Eufy doorbell

Really impressed with my Eufy doorbell. Overall a great product and would definitely recommend to others. All my 'cons' likely relate to the fact that my front door is very close to a fairly busy residential street, so bare this in mind if you are in a similar situation.
Pros
Easy to install
Very fast to load up the live feed with minimal time delay
Fantastic video quality - faces are clear even at distance
Decent audio quality
Battery appears to last a long time
App is easy to navigate and recordings stored locally
no monthly fee
Cons
Setting an 'Activity Zone' seems to have no effect as it regularly picks up people passing outside the zone.
Changing sensitivity setting appear to have no effect in daylight
Can start recording too late in an 'event' to actually get the person on camera, especially if someone is quickly dropping off a package - though this is rare. Likely because there is little distance between the street and my door
Sensitivity varies significantly at night

Okay device, but not worth the price

The RoboVac 30C was on sale for 175GBP, so I thought I'd go for it. It's an okay vacuum, but the sensor is always needing cleaned, which means I spend more time picking it up and placing it in another room than it does actually cleaning.
